I needed a break from working on large quilts and I am waiting on some sticky wash away material so I decided to make some mini quilts for a table stand. The spiderweb on this jack o’lantern glows in the dark.
I quilted around the pumpkin and have put it away to see if I will do more quilting later. It’s tempting to quilt along the spiderweb but I don’t want to interfere with the glow in the dark feature.
Then, I found a Christmas panel in my stash. You can’t tell in photograph, but I quilted around snowman, scarf, red cardinals, and holly leaves in border. I put this one aside as well. I will decide about more quilting or not.

I can see I need to work on cutting panels so I have straight edges. Practice makes perfect.
In the meantime I hope everyone has a Happy Halloween!
I’ve been doing several panel quilts but they never give hints on how to actually quilt them so they look nice. They look so easy but then as I go through the directions, they end up in the closet for later and later. 😦 I like yours.
