Two Different Views Of Topping The Tree

I first made this mini quilt in 2019. While I like the white on white snowflake background, I thought the snowmen might show up better on a blue background so I made the second mini quilt this year.

Tip: Use spray adhesive even on mini quilt to create a smoother, flat background.
Tip: Use two layers of white fabric for snowmen to avoid back showing through them.

The pattern is Topping the Tree by Quilt Doodle Designs. The trees are free motion quilted. The snowmen and stars are outlined stitched. It is a fun pattern to make.
