Jenny Doan of Missouri Star Quilt Company has two YouTube videos on making masks for these pandemic times. One tutorial was masks with elastic. Then there was the elastic shortage so Jenny came up with a tutorial for masks with ties. I followed those tutorials for making the masks below.
I jumped on the band wagon and made masks with elastic and with ties for family , friends, husbands coworkers who requested them. Below is sampling of masks made

Below pictures include masks for adult and children. For adults the fabrics are cut to measure 6”x9” and elastic is cut 6.5 -7” long. The shorter one for women. For children 4-12 years old the mask fabric is cut to measure 5”x7” and the elastic is 6” long.

The last one was my most creative — using inkjet print fabric and several packages of Reese’s cups. I laid the Reese’s cups in package on glasses copier. Note do not eat the peanut butter cups first. Put the printing fabric in tray as instructed on packet. Print, let dry, sew according to Jenny’s instructions, lastly enjoy the peanut butter cups.
