Thanks for joining me on this quilting journey.
I am thankful to my friend, Sally, who started me down this path. It was the proverbial stitch in time. I needed something and she showed me a path.
I am thankful to my friend, Linda. Together, we have worked out the design for many quilts. Through time spent together “locked” in a room and in these pandemic days, the back and forth exchange of texts we solved the seeming unsolvable dilemmas of design.
I am thankful for my husband of 40 years. He has patiently put up with my repetitive requests to come look at another revised design. A talented photographer his opinions on composition were valued. Also, he understood the need for a “ladies only” trip to a quilt show. What fun Sally, Linda, and I had on our trip to Paducah.
I am thankful to my friend, Teresa, a talented crafter, who always encouraged me along the way. Also, thanks to the many friends who challenged me by asking, “Can you make this?” A special thanks to my friend, Melody, who is a talented painter in her own right.
Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter. — Izaak Walton
