My First Quilt

I found the directions for this quilt in a quilting magazine. Unfortunately, despite going through my stash of quilting magazines, I cannot find the design again. I am fairly certain it was a McCall magazine. It is a reversible tabletop 50” by 50”. I did both hand and machine quilting.

I loved the nautical design and became hooked on quilting from this first one. I think I have learned more about quilting over the years than I have about taking photographs of the quilts.

If anyone recognizes the design, please let me know. I would love to credit my inspiration. The magazine would be approximately seven years old.
