Mug Rugs

Mug rugs are bigger than a coaster and smaller than a placemat. Average size is 7” x 9”, they are perfect size for drink cup and a snack. They are versatile and can be made to reflect the seasons or personality of person you are making them for.

The first two rug mugs below picture was taken before the quilting and before the binding was sewn on. The rest are finished. Mug rugs are an excellent way to practice quilting and sewing binding.

I made these mug rugs in late 2017 and early 2018. Going through this post and looking on Pinterest. I have the urge to make some more. But I have a list of unfinished projects I want to get through first.
