UFO Addition

By The Trip Around the World quilt I put aside. It is 3/4 finished but I’m not completely happy with color choices and the last quarter of quilt not going together like I want. Besides I had a request for a custom T-shirt quilt.

I love how each t-shirt quilt is different. The picture above is Rob’s T-shirts cut, interfaced and sewn together. Now the top is at The Quilt Peddler for quilting. I expect it back mid-September.

I have a process of communication with the person requesting a quilt frequently. We talk before and during the quilt making process so there are no surprises.

So far I have 3 happy T-shirt quilt customers and another commissioned t-shirt quilt to be started after I finished one wall hanging and a throw quilt. I don’t know when I’ll get back to the Trip Around The World quilt. But, I’m happy. I love designing and putting a quilt together. Sometimes I don’t even mind working with my seam ripper. It’s all about getting it right.
