This is a look back at 2022. I’m not a fast sewer nor do I have much time now that I work part time at Stitches of Love and keep my granddaughter 1-2 days a week. However, I’m pleased with 2022 – 3 quilt throws, 1 restored quilt, 1 table topper, 3 mini quilts, and 1 mug rug.

My plans for 2023 include 4 throws and 2 mini quilts. 1 mini quilt is finished and fabric organized for 1 throw. That just my sewing plans for 2023; I also have bathroom renovations and yard work planned too. But, first, I want COViD, to be gone from our house. My husband, Bert, has COViD. He feeling better after 5 days but, still testing positive. Neither one of us can got to work till he test negative. In the meantime, I am sewing.
What are your plans for 2023?
Yes. 2023 is running away. I ditched my last project. Ready to start something new. Thank you for the complement on quilt.

I’m not a fast quilter either. My days are full from 4 am to 10 pm so I squeeze in time. The final quilting of a top always sends me into a panic because I’ve been afraid of free motion quilting. You are way ahead of me and they look quite lovely. We do what we can. 2023 is running away with me already. Hope you are having better luck getting things done than I am.

Looks like you had a good year! I’ve pinned the snowman quilt thinking we may want to have it as a quick quilt workshop at the shop next fall.
