I just had to reassure myself the top was going to fit the bed. I had a marathon sewing day on Saturday and a slightly shorter sewing day today to finish the top. What with cutting the fabric, looking for more fabric, and sewing I have 40+ hours in this top.
I sandwiched the top this weekend. I also sandwiched the scrappy quilt from previous post. Both have white backing- a flat bed sheet, I’m ready to start quilting.
The large green spaces give me pause for what I am going to quilt. I’m thinking an all over design. I will use dark green on top and a variegated green on bottom. Any suggestions for the quilting design?
