Easter Is Coming

Keep calm, because you’re not too old for an Easter Egg hunt. Unknown

I still have fond memories of coloring Easter eggs and hunting them. So, when I saw this pattern by Patch Abilities I had to have it.

When I was in college I took a clothes pattern making class, My take away from that class was I would buy patterns when I could. Pattern making is hard for me.

While this one took me more than a day to make. I enjoyed the making. The mini quilt was a welcome change to the larger quilts I have been working on.

Instead of blanket stitching, I used straight stitching to outline all the pieces. That worked especially well on the grass.

Easter is April 4th this year. This mini quilt is finished and gifted.
