
I saw the picture for this pattern on Annie’s Catalog website and couldn’t resist. It made me think of my sister-in-law, Debbie. She decorates for the holidays. As mentioned in earlier post she and my brother were instrumental in making our trip to Minnesota and Wisconsin happen.
The pattern is easy to follow except for discussion on how to sew the double square border. But, with just a little quilting experience, you can figure it out. I like the directions for making the 36 square middle and the snowmen. I used buttons for eyes instead of beads.
The beige snowflake fabric and the shades of blue snowflake fabrics I got from Etsy shops – StacksofStash and RobinsNestQuikts2016. The buttons were from JoAnns Fabric.
All in all I think the table topper looks nice on her table.
